What's Good?!?

...from the desk of the therapist

Meet the Therapist

Welcome to our podcast!

I'm your host, Kimeka L. Hunt, MBA, MSW, LSW.

Wow! What an honor and privilege! I knew this would be fun, and fun it has been!

When considering my extensive background in health administration and mental health and addiction, I wanted to take this thing to the next level! Why not, right!?

Since January 2024, we've been on a mission to encourage, empower, inspire, and motivate our listeners. Each episode is designed to accentuate the positive and connect viewers to valuable community-based resources.

As a therapist, I hear stories and accounts of hopelessness. Often, clients feel as though they are the only ones experiencing challenges to the magnitude they're feeling it.

They feel like no one understands what they're going through and that they are all alone. This is not necessarily true.

The name of our podcast was derived with the intent to speak to what's good! No matter what, in most instances, there is good that can be acknowledged... and there you have it! "What's Good?!? from the Desk of the Therapist" is not only a question but, in many communities, used as a statement and gesture to greet and engage others we care about.

So, let's talk! Join us as we explore stories, insight, and tips that are proactively and intentionally incorporated to uplift and support you on this journey we call life.
